Summary:
When Roscoe’s stuffed pig goes missing, he assumes the class bully Wyatt took it. Roscoe finds out where Wyatt keeps his teddy bear and decides to give Wyatt a taste of his own medicine. Roscoe ends up discovering that this was not the right thing to do.   

Target Audience: 
The target audience for this book is children ages 5 to 8 who have experience with or could encounter bullying.  

Evaluation:
This is a great early chapter book that can be used to introduce children to bullying or to expand on basic understanding of bullying. The writing style is very comical and children will enjoy reading this book. 

Reader Response Activity:
In the book, Roscoe Riley includes a list of 10 secrets people probably do not know about him. Readers can create and share their own list including interesting facts about themselves. This will help children connect to the book and learn more about their fellow classmates.
