Summary:
This book is about a boy named Benny who likes to help his community. One day, Benny finds a mask and when he wears the mask he turns into Boy Zorro—Defender of Good. When Boy Zorro sees his friend being bullied, he lets his principal know. The issue is resolved when the principal hosts a school-wide meeting about bullying. 

Target Audience: 
The target audience for this book is young children who have experience with bullying. Children who like super heroes will enjoy this book.

Evaluation:
This is a fantastic book. It discusses bullying which is a very important topic to be discussed in schools. The way the bullying is handled in the book is very realistic. Readers can learn from the school’s bullying policy and the consequences from the book. They can keep this information in mind when they encounter bullying at their own school. 

Reader Response Activity:
Readers can create their own kindness mask. Then they can write a few sentences explaining what acts of kindness they would do while wearing their mask. This allows children to think back to what acts of kindness Boy Zorro did while wearing his mask.
