Summary:
Sneaky Weasel throws a party but none of his friends show up. He has played mean tricks on all of them in the past so they do not want to go to Sneaky Weasel’s party. Sneaky Weasel wants to make things right with all of his friends so he tries to undo everything he did. All of his friends forgive him and show up to his next party.
Target Audience:
The target audience is children between the ages of 5 and 8. Children who like to play small jokes or pranks on their friends will relate to this book. Children who have been on the receiving end of pranks and jokes will also relate to this book. This book is also relatable to children who recognize when they have done something wrong and want to fix it.
Evaluation:
Sneaky Weasel is a very entertaining book that does a great job addressing bullying. Bullying is an issue in the real world and the book describes how Sneaky Weasel loses all of his friends because he bullies them. The book also does well portraying physical diversity because all of the characters are different animals. I would definitely recommend this book.
